The night before KubeCon kicks off

Get in Touch

The best party of KubeCon happens before KubeCon starts

On Sunday 14 March 2027, the evening before KubeCon Europe opens its doors at Fira Gran Via, 300 senior engineers, architects and technology decision makers will board a catamaran in Barcelona, watch the sun go down over the Mediterranean, and step off the boat directly into a private waterfront reception.

Every other vendor party fights for attention on Tuesday and Wednesday night, competing with six others in the same three-hour window. We are not in that fight.

We own the Sunday. Nobody schedules anything the night before day zero. Everyone who has flown in is looking for something to do, and there is exactly one thing happening.

By Monday morning, this is what people will be talking about.

The boat is the whole point

At 18:15 the Ecosail leaves Drassanes with 200 guests aboard. Two decks, two bars and a 360-degree terrace. It is the largest passenger catamaran on the Spanish east coast.

For the next two hours, Barcelona goes past from the water. Sunset at 18:56. The city and the hills behind it catch the last of the light. Nobody is checking their phone.

At 20:00 the boat does something no other Barcelona charter can do: instead of returning to where it started, it docks directly at the party venue. Guests step off the gangway and walk three minutes into a private marina reception.

Why your customers will actually say yes

Every sponsor at KubeCon is trying to get thirty minutes with the same people.

You will send an invitation to a booth. Someone else will send an invitation to a hotel bar. And one company will send an invitation to a sunset cruise on the Mediterranean, with their logo flying from the mast. That email gets opened. That invitation gets accepted. That conversation happens.

It is not a logo, it is an evening

Your guests are not being marketed to. They are on a boat, in Barcelona, at sunset, with you, before the conference has even begun.

It comes out of a budget you already have

This is field marketing spend, not a logo placement. Customer entertainment budgets already exist for exactly this.

It is genuinely scarce

There are 200 seats on the water and roughly 300+one people at the party. Boat tickets are allocated to sponsors first. When they are gone, they are gone.

First impressions, first night

You get to your key accounts before anyone else in the ecosystem has said hello.

Why Sponsor KubeBoat

Reach Decision Makers Before Anyone Else

The Sunday before KubeCon is the quietest inbox of the week and the most valuable. Everyone is in town and nobody has claimed their evening.

Entertain Your Customers Properly

A sunset cruise is something a customer remembers and tells colleagues about. A booth conversation is not.

Brand Visibility Where Cameras Are Pointing

Two hours of golden hour on the Mediterranean with 220 people holding phones. Your brand is in every frame.

Support the Cloud Native Community

KubeBoat is a community-run event. Sponsorship keeps it independent and keeps tickets affordable for the people who make this ecosystem work.
